Ken Owiti | CEO | hunterPac

Ken is the CEO of hunterPac and is the lead for our Executive Search business stream. Specialising in Information Technology, Ken is a leading search consultant for executives within the IT industry globally. 

He has been actively placing executives in the technology industry in Australia, Asia and Europe for over 20 years. He has built an in-depth knowledge of the industry and strong, long term relationships with the key businesses and clients within it. 

Prior to his role with hunterPac, Ken was a Senior Principal with Hamilton James and Bruce which he joined in 2001 after 6 years with Ambit Technology as National Manager.

Ken is retained by many clients for sourcing critical roles such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer and their key direct reports. He has been instrumental in managing search and recruitment projects with large teams of IT Resources to deliver business and technology outcomes for large organisations. 

He has specifically provided IT and business experts in areas such as large program management, IT Strategy and Architecture, Service Delivery and Senior Line management.

Ken holds a Diploma in Business Management (Majoring in Accounting). 

Susan Karanja | Managing Director | hunterPac Germany GmbH

Susan partnered up with hunterPac Limited in 2018 to provide German-speaking professionals to roles in Project and Program Management,  Engineering and ICT across industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Logistics and Supply Chain and Mining. She also brings the added value of concierge services to help senior-level consultants integrate into Germany. With over ten years’ international Talent Acquisition experience across the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and her prior experience in Hospitality and Telecoms, Susan has a knack of developing long-term relationships for business across geographies with dynamic teams to effect delivery.

Susan is now the Managing Director of hunterPac Germany GmbH based in Düsseldorf, and sources professionals in the designated areas for our clients with a focus on both contractors and permanent placements of mid to senior level Executives in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Susan holds an MBA Degree in Management and Operations from Hult International Business School in London and is a graduate of the United States International University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business Administration.

Genie Khan | Principal | hunterPac Recruiting | Contract Resourcing

Genie is a Principal at hunterPac, with responsibility for leading our Recruitment | Contract Resourcing business stream, specialising in the Technology Domain. 

Prior to joining hunterPac in 2006, Genie was a Senior Consultant with Hamilton James & Bruce for five years, and a Senior Accounts Manager at Ambit Technology for three years. 

During her career, Genie has established an excellent reputation as a recruitment consultant for IT roles across a range of sectors, including, Telecommunications, Banking, Financial / Insurance Services, Government and Manufacturing building a vast network as a result.

She focuses on both permanent and contract recruitment with roles ranging from mid- to senior functional and technical specialists through to senior project directors and executive line managers.

Genie provides both her clients and candidates alike expert advice and a consultative approach to the recruitment process. Her approach has always been based on an enhanced understanding of her clients’ business needs, environment, culture and people which leads to sustainable, long term relationships.

Shayne Jackson | General Manager, Australia | hunterPac Recruiting

Working closely with Ken and Genie, Shayne has recently been appointed to head up our Australian operation. His focus is on continuing to provide senior talent to Australian businesses including permanent, project and consulting resources to enable strategic leadership and business transformation.

Shayne has been a leading figure in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry for many years, holding senior management roles and working closely with clients to implement business strategies around people, processes and technology. His projects have spanned ANZ, India and the Philippines.

From 2010 he has consulted to both government and corporates, working as a trusted advisor independently and with KPMG, one of the major consulting groups, in their management advisory team.

Over two decades, Shayne has built considerable experience in managing resources, talent acquisition and understanding unique business requirements. Complementing his corroborative, partnering approach with clients, he has developed effective techniques to drive transformation through people, identify performance-driven behaviours, and align talent with individual business cultures.
